Our raw Pohutukawa honey is harvested from our most northern hives located in the beautiful Martins Bay, Mahurangi. The Pohutukawa tree is known in New Zealand as the iconic Kiwi Christmas tree as December is when the tree is in full bloom with deep red flowers. Pohutukawa honey is pale in colour, with a delicate taste - salty and sweet, almost buttery. A favourite in our household - and a best seller at our Farmers markets.Single origin - unheated - lightly filtered raw honey
